Imagine making your character/avatar wave, walk, "fly" and talk -- using only your mouse and keyboard -- and meet/interact/CHAT with other dancers at the same time from anywhere in the World. As a citizen of this virtual world, Imagine making your character/avatar "DANCE".

. This 3D World is REAL and available FREE NOW for your exploration and use!!! Follow these simple instructions in THREE EASY STEPS: STEP 1: "Download" the Setup.exe File ... Click here to "Download" the FREE VirtualReality "Outer Worlds" Browser/Gateway (setup.exe file -- PC based) to a temporary directory on your computer. This gives you immediate access to our 3-dimensional ballroom! [For MAC users, see Soft Windows. Unfortunately, the browser is not available for Mac, so you will need Soft Windows 98 to be able to use this PC-based browser.] STEP 2: "Install" the Setup.exe File ... Once the "Outer Worlds" Browser/Gateway above (i.e., setup.exe) is downloaded, double click on the setup.exe file that you have put in the temporary directory. This will immediately install the "Outerworld" browser/gateway on your computer desktop. Now CLICK on the "Outer Worlds" icon on your desktop to transport yourself into the 3-dimensional world of virtual reality! . STEP 3: Sign yourself up as a "TOURIST" when activating the 3-d Browser Once the "Outer Worlds" browser opens, sign yourself up as a "TOURIST" (FREE!!!). Click on the "BALLROOM" selection on the left menu, and you will immediately be transported to Dancescape.Com's VirtualReality Ballroom!!! QUICK TIPS... Using Your Keyboard, Mouse, and Numeric Keypad: You can press the "END" key on your keyboard to ZOOM in and out of different views. You can use your CURSOR/ARROW keys on your keyboard to move your character/avatar around -- Forward Arrow to move forward, Backward Arrow to move backward, and Side Arrows to rotate around! You can use the "+" or "-" sign to "FLY" above ground level and see the Ballroom and Garden below!!! To go to the front of the stage area at any time (and hence to be able to enter into the Ballroom), click on the word, "Ballroom", on the left menu. Using Your "Outer Worlds" Menu: When you first enter as a "Tourist", you will default to a character/Avantar. You can pick from 2 avatars as a tourst -- click on the "Avatars" top menu selection to pick a character/dancer to represent yourself in this 3-dimensional world. (i.e., TOURISTS/Visitors have 2 FREE selections only. Citizens/subscribers have unlimited choices!). Click on the "EYE" or "Camera" icon/picture on the top menu to see the world from different points of view -- at first person "eye" level, above eye level, or in "third person". (e.g., click on the "EYE" icon/picture to see the Ballroom at "Eye-Level" -- you can move the eyeball up, down or at eye level; click on the "Camera" icon/picture to go back to 3rd person perspective). Click on the "Person" icon/picture to use your mouse to navigate (left click your mouse again to return to 3rd person perspective). Note that below these selections are animation buttons which you can have your character/avatar express (e.g., "Joy", "Wave", etc. -- Tourists will be able to "Wave" only). Click on the "Show" top menu selection to select or deselect various options.
