"DEAR DIARY"...Adventures in Blackpool! Monday, May 29th, 2000 Monday's events included the Professional Rising Star Modern/Standard. William Pino and Alessandra Bucciarelli were the favourites going into this event, and they made their mark throughout each heat and in the finals. Perhaps one of the best showings was from the German team, Stefan Ossenkop & Pia David, who finished ahead of the other Italian, Michele Bonsignori & Monica Baldasseroni. These were all new professionals, and in recent years during World "Amateur" Championship events, the German team had never placed higher than the Italian team. Amateur Senior
