The 75th Blackpool (British Open) DanceSport Festival is the most prestigious event in the world, held in Blackpool, England from May 26th to June 2nd. This week long event brought together the best dancers and DanceSport athletes to compete for titles in Amateur and Professional divisions.
DanceActive, the world's first sports magazine dedicated to dance, celebrated and released its 1st ANNIVERSARY Special Issue in Blackpool. Andy Fortuna Productions launched "Latin Jam 5: Electrified" in Blackpool at the British Open Championships, the world's top DanceSport competition! This new CD is HOT, and has received rave reviews in Europe as the BEST yet in Latin music. The first song, "Africano" (Samba) is hypnotic with its African drum beats, vocal chants, and clever infusion of jazz/hip hop. It sets the pace for the rest of the CD.
